Our third generation "Mr. Mills" designed and built his first duffel for personal use 60 years ago. In fact we still have the bag, which is typical of bags we make. They last a lifetime. Our duffels have become a staple of sailors and boaters everywhere. The duffel bag is the most practical bag made and ours is too. We make this bag in five sizes so that you have a size for every purpose. Our "Shelter Island" can easily serve as an overnight bag for short excursions or a day bag for a trip to the gym. Our "Fishers Island" and "Gardiner's Island" are small enough to serve as handbags. Our "Sag Harbor" and "Montauk" are the largest, perfect for longer stays where you need to carry more. Better yet, when your not using the bags they collapse for easy storage. That is important if you are on a boat or in an apartment. Crafted from #8 cotton duck canvas, each duffel is water reistant as shipped, and is machine wachable. One feature of our bags lost in the pictures is the zipper. We are fanatics about zipper quality. We use only the best. Heavy duty marine grade zippers in all of our bags insures your contents stay put, looking good the whole time. Each bag is made by hand, by our master sewers in the oldest sail loft in America, employing lock-stitched seams for superior strength and durability.
